Why I'm building TradEd
I watched too many friends jump into Robinhood, lose their first $500, and decide that "markets aren't for them." It wasn't the markets. It was that nobody showed them the ropes in a way that didn't feel like homework or a sales funnel.

Is this real trading?
No. TradEd is 100% paper trading. You're trading real stocks and crypto at real live prices — but with fake money. Think of it as a flight simulator for markets: nothing you do risks a cent.
When is it launching?
Beta on TestFlight in Q3 2026 for waitlist members. Public App Store launch shortly after. Join the list to be among the first invited.
How is this different from Robinhood or eToro?
Those apps make money when you trade, so they're built to get you trading as fast as possible. TradEd makes money when you learn, so it's built to teach you first. You won't find a single "Buy AAPL" prompt here — just lessons, practice, and feedback.
How much does it cost?
The core simulator and first lesson track are free forever. Pro is planned at $9.99/mo or $59.99/yr, and unlocks the AI coach, advanced lessons, and the funded-trader pathway. The first 500 waitlist members get Pro free for life.
iOS only?
For now, yes — to keep the quality bar high with a small team. Android is planned for 2027.
Do you give investment advice?
No. TradEd is an educational product. The AI coach reflects on trades you've placed and teaches you the concepts behind them — it never recommends a trade. We're not a broker, and we don't handle real money.
